I'd take a picture of it all spread out, but then you would see that it is not, in fact 'square' and then I would have to make something up about how I did that on purpose because it's a statement about how The Man can't hold me down or make rules for a girl like me, and then I would burn my bra, and no one wants that. Trust me.
So it turns out I'm a crochet-er!
Time for a potential crafting disaster.
Alright alright - I've entered all the contests I can find today - I guess I should use this new blog for at least ONE post thing it was intended for..
Once, we were poor. The girls' room needed girly-ing. We made due.
We started with one of those cheapy-wooden shelves that you buy from big box discount stores..
And ended up with a creation fit for a princess!
This has been a great addition to their princess-themed bedroom - I used a vintage wrapping paper for the back (where you see the pink and yellow design) and Zero VOC paint for the rest. I did have to come back later and seal the paper a bit better, but I think it will hold up well- even under the abuse of two seven year olds!
